Julie and Tony Gonzalez started Essential Property Management in 2006, after spending nearly 17 years working for prominent Management Companies in Miami, Florida.  Julie and Tony Gonzalez purchased a property and built a second home in Lake Lure, NC in 2004.  They just fell in love with the mountains of NC and couldn't wait to live in the area full time.  So in 2006, they sold their home and moved to NC full time.  


Motivated by a strong work ethic filled with honesty and integrity, combined with experience in the real estate and management industry, they immediately began planning on the next big adventure.  They new that they wanted to start a business that would allow them to use their love of the outdoors and their broad knowledge of property management.

Julie and Tony Gonzalez bring over 32 years of experience, having served as Building Managers, Director of Property Maintenance, Chief Financial Officer and Property Managers for three of South Florida’s premier corporations.  Essential Property Management, has always operated on the business philosophy that the homeowners in the community association have the right to expect the highest level of performance.
